Jazmin Yucatan is a humid, atmospheric interpretation of jasmine inspired by the dense tropical landscapes of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. Rather than presenting jasmine as traditionally soft or romantic, D.S. & Durga places it inside a wet, green jungle — surrounded by water, vegetation and warm resinous woods.
The opening combines water, passion flower and bergamot, creating a fresh, almost rain-soaked sensation. At the heart, Yucatecan jasmine and jasmine sambac bloom alongside clove, bringing a floral character that feels lush, green and slightly animalic.
As it settles, snake plant, vetiver and copal resin create an earthy, mineral and subtly resinous base. The result evokes tropical vegetation after heavy rain — humid air, wet flowers, limestone and the mysterious warmth of copal incense.
Jazmin Yucatan is not a conventional jasmine fragrance. It is immersive, wild and transportive — a floral that feels more like a place than simply a perfume.
