Do Son — Diptyque
Do Son is Diptyque’s tribute to tuberose, inspired by the childhood memories of co-founder Yves Coueslant and the summers he spent in Do Son, on the coast of Vietnam. There, the humid sea breeze carried the intoxicating scent of tuberose flowers — a memory transformed into one of the house’s most recognizable fragrances.
At its heart, tuberose is lush, creamy and intensely floral, surrounded by orange blossom and jasmine. A subtle marine freshness runs through the composition, preventing the white florals from becoming too heavy and giving Do Son its distinctive airy quality.
The result is sensual without being overly sweet: a white floral that feels simultaneously creamy, fresh and slightly tropical. It evokes flowers carried on a warm coastal breeze — intimate, elegant and beautifully nostalgic.
